They say that if you’re looking for a truly relaxing vacation—one where you don’t have to worry about packing and unpacking every few days, searching for the next hotel, or hunting for great places to eat—a cruise is one of the best ways to travel. Everything you need is in one place, allowing you to simply sit back, unwind, and enjoy the journey.
Now, add breathtaking glaciers, towering mountains, abundant wildlife, and charming coastal towns to that experience, and you have the perfect recipe for an unforgettable vacation. If that’s what you’re looking for, an Alaska cruise should definitely be on your travel bucket list.
For our getaway, we decided to book an 8-day cruise from Seattle to Alaska, with a stop in the beautiful city of Victoria, Canada. It was exactly the kind of vacation we were hoping for—a perfect balance of relaxation, scenic cruising, and memorable sightseeing.
Before booking, I spent quite a bit of time researching different cruise lines. One name that consistently stood out was Cunard. It is well known for its elegant décor, classic luxury, and a more relaxed atmosphere with fewer crowds. That meant shorter lines at the buffet, less waiting for onboard activities, and a more peaceful cruising experience—exactly what we wanted.
When it came time to book, we explored Costco Travel, which offered an excellent selection of quality cruises at very competitive prices. It made comparing itineraries and finding the right deal incredibly easy.
Timing is just as important as choosing the right cruise. Summer is undoubtedly the best season to visit Alaska, as many attractions are open, the weather is much more pleasant, and you’ll enjoy long daylight hours that let you soak in the spectacular scenery. We chose the week of July 4th, and it turned out to be the perfect time to experience Alaska in all its natural beauty.
Before You Sail: A Little Planning Goes a Long Way
One thing we quickly realized while planning this trip was that a little preparation before boarding makes the cruise experience much smoother. Since Alaska’s weather is famously unpredictable, we packed with the mindset of being ready for sunshine, rain, and chilly winds—all in the same day!
Packing Tips
Layering is the key to staying comfortable in Alaska. We packed plenty of warm clothes along with waterproof jackets, ponchos, gloves, and umbrellas. Some mornings started out cold and misty, while afternoons became pleasantly sunny, so having multiple layers made it easy to adjust throughout the day.
Don’t forget to print your luggage tags before heading to the cruise terminal. Having printed copies of your boarding passes is also helpful and can speed up the check-in process. If you happen to forget, don’t worry—you can still get your luggage tags at the cruise terminal, but having everything ready beforehand saves time.
Although Alaska cruises usually sail through calm waters, we didn’t want to take any chances with motion sickness. We packed motion sickness patches just in case, and thankfully they gave us complete peace of mind throughout the journey.
Book Wi-Fi Before You Board
If staying connected is important, I highly recommend purchasing the Wi-Fi package before boarding the ship. The pre-cruise pricing is usually much better than buying it onboard. We opted for the Premium Wi-Fi package, which cost a little over $400 for four devices for our 8-day cruise. It allowed us to stay connected with family, upload photos, and keep up with messages, especially since mobile service is unavailable for much of the voyage.
Reserve Your Shore Excursions Early
Another tip I’d strongly recommend is booking your shore excursions before your sailing date. Besides receiving about a 10% discount, popular excursions often sell out weeks in advance.
Since every Alaskan port offers unique experiences, we reserved one excursion for each port day well before our trip. It gave us peace of mind knowing our spots were secured, and we could simply look forward to each destination without worrying about last-minute availability.

Day 1: Embarkation Day – From Seattle to Our Home at Sea
The day we had been eagerly waiting for had finally arrived!
To avoid any last-minute stress, we booked an early morning flight from San Jose, California, to Seattle. Since embarkation for our Cunard cruise was scheduled between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, arriving in Seattle early gave us plenty of time to comfortably make our way to Pier 91.
From the airport, you can either take an Uber or pre-book Cunard’s valet transfer service, where they pick you up directly from the baggage claim area and take you to the cruise terminal. We chose to take uber and headed straight to Seattle Pier 91, excited to finally begin our Alaska adventure.
The embarkation process was surprisingly smooth. After dropping off our luggage, we went through security and immigration before stepping aboard the beautiful ship. We were able to board even before the official embarkation time, which meant one very important thing—it was time for lunch!
Our first stop was the Lido Buffet, where we enjoyed a delicious meal while waiting for the staterooms to become available around 12:30–1:00 PM. Starting the vacation with a relaxed lunch while watching the harbor outside felt like the perfect beginning.
Soon after, we headed to our stateroom on Deck 1. We had booked an outside-view cabin, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. The room was surprisingly spacious, featuring a queen bed, a comfortable sofa, and a pull-down bunk bed above the sofa—more than enough space for a comfortable stay.
If you’re planning an Alaska cruise, I highly recommend choosing an outside-view cabin at the very least. Alaska’s breathtaking scenery deserves to be enjoyed even from the comfort of your room. Watching glaciers, mountains, waterfalls, and passing wildlife through your window is an experience in itself. Of course, if your budget allows, a balcony cabin is an even better option. However, since Alaska weather is often cold, windy, or rainy, we felt perfectly happy with our outside-view room because we spent most of our sightseeing time on the public decks anyway.
Before unpacking completely, one thing I’d recommend is reserving your dining schedule for the entire cruise if you prefer eating in the main dining room instead of the buffet every day. Britannia Restaurant is included in your cruise fare and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while the specialty restaurants come with an additional charge.
Another useful tip is to connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi (if you’ve purchased a package) and log in to My Voyage as soon as you board. The portal becomes your daily companion throughout the cruise, allowing you to check restaurant reservations, browse activity schedules, view port information, and stay updated with everything happening onboard.
After enjoying lunch at the Lido Buffet, we decided not to rush into exploring every corner of the ship. Instead, we unpacked, relaxed in our room, and simply enjoyed the feeling that our vacation had officially begun.
Later in the evening, we started wandering around the ship and taking in Cunard’s elegant décor. One thing we noticed almost immediately was that there were relatively few young families and children onboard. My guess is that Cunard attracts travelers looking for a quieter, more traditional cruise experience. The onboard entertainment leans more toward live music, theater performances, and relaxing lounges than water parks or family-focused attractions. The chilly Alaska weather also means that the outdoor swimming pools don’t see nearly as much activity compared to Caribbean cruises. Of course, that was simply our observation during this sailing.
We eventually made our way to Deck 10, where we found the sports area. Since we love staying active, we couldn’t resist playing a few games of pickleball. It was a lot of fun, but the excitement didn’t last too long because the cold Alaskan breeze quickly reminded us where we were headed! With the court only partially enclosed by nets, the wind made it difficult to keep playing, so we happily called it a day and headed indoors.
Dinner at Britannia Restaurant was a wonderful experience. The elegant atmosphere, attentive service, and beautifully presented food made us feel like our vacation had truly begun.
The perfect ending to our first day was the evening entertainment at the Royal Court Theatre. Every night, the theater offers two showtimes—8:00 PM and 9:45 PM—so you can choose whichever fits your dinner schedule.
We attended the 9:45 PM performance featuring the incredibly talented violinist Peter Vawter. His performance was energetic, captivating, and a fantastic way to end our first evening at sea.
By the time we returned to our cabin, the ship was gently sailing north toward Alaska. It had been a long day that started before sunrise, but every minute was worth it. As we settled into bed, we couldn’t help but feel excited knowing that tomorrow our real journey through the Inside Passage would begin.
Day 2: A Relaxing Day at Sea
After the excitement of embarkation day, it was time to slow down and truly embrace cruise life. With no ports to visit, Day 2 was all about relaxing, exploring the ship at our own pace, and enjoying everything Cunard had to offer.
We started the morning with a leisurely breakfast at Britannia Restaurant. One of the things we loved most about dining here was the panoramic sea view. Sipping a hot cup of coffee while watching the endless blue ocean stretch to the horizon was the perfect way to begin the day. There was no rush, no schedule to follow—just the gentle movement of the ship and the peaceful sound of the waves.
Unlike many larger cruise ships packed with water slides, amusement parks, and family-focused attractions, Cunard offers a much more traditional and elegant cruising experience. We noticed that there weren’t too many activities specifically designed for young families or children, which made the atmosphere feel quieter and more relaxing. If you’re looking for a peaceful vacation where you can unwind, read a book, enjoy live music, or simply watch the ocean go by, this style of cruising is absolutely wonderful.
Since we weren’t in any hurry, we decided to watch a movie at the Royal Court Theatre before continuing our exploration of the ship. It was a nice way to spend part of the afternoon and gave us a chance to experience yet another one of the ship’s beautiful venues.
As we wandered around, we also checked out the Mareel Wellness & Beauty Spa. Besides offering a variety of spa treatments, the spa also has an indoor wellness area with a pool, making it a great option for Alaska cruises where the outdoor pools are often too cold to enjoy. If you’re planning to use the indoor pool regularly, I’d recommend purchasing the spa access package early in your voyage so you can enjoy it throughout the cruise. One more tip—don’t hesitate to ask about current promotions. We also noticed that Cunard occasionally sends special discounts later in the voyage for selected spa services, so it’s worth keeping an eye on your daily announcements.
As evening approached, the ship transformed for one of its themed nights—Ice White Night. Everyone was encouraged to wear white, adding a festive and elegant atmosphere throughout the ship. We joined in the fun, dressed according to the theme, and of course couldn’t miss the opportunity to take photos in front of Cunard’s iconic grand staircase. It was one of the most beautiful photo spots onboard and looked even more stunning with everyone dressed for the occasion.
One thing we quickly learned was that themed dinner nights are extremely popular. The line outside Britannia Restaurant was noticeably longer than usual, so if you don’t enjoy waiting, it’s a good idea to arrive either a little early or slightly later than the peak dinner rush.
After dinner, instead of attending the evening theater performance, we decided to spend some time in the Queens Room. Watching couples gracefully ballroom dance while a live orchestra played in the background felt like stepping into another era. It perfectly captured Cunard’s timeless elegance and became one of our favorite memories from the sea day. Even if you don’t dance yourself, it’s well worth stopping by simply to enjoy the atmosphere.
As the day came to an end, we took one last stroll around the quiet decks before heading back to our cabin. There was something incredibly calming about watching the vast ocean under the evening sky, knowing that with every passing mile, we were getting closer to the incredible landscapes of Alaska.
Sometimes, the best part of a vacation isn’t rushing from one attraction to another—it’s simply slowing down. And Day 2 reminded us exactly why we chose a cruise for this journey. Tomorrow, our Alaskan adventure would truly begin.
Day 3: Sitka Adventures – Our First Taste of Alaska
After two relaxing days onboard, the moment we had been eagerly waiting for had finally arrived—our first port in Alaska! As the ship slowly sailed into Sitka, we were welcomed by lush green mountains, misty skies, and the charming coastal beauty that Alaska is famous for. It truly felt like our Alaskan adventure had officially begun.
Before the trip, we had pre-booked the Sitka Express & Bear Fortress Excursion, wanting a mix of wildlife and sightseeing without feeling rushed.
Since the ship docked around 1:00 PM, we enjoyed a quick lunch onboard before making our way off the ship around 1:30 PM. One of the advantages of having a later arrival was that there was no need for an early morning rush—we could enjoy a relaxed meal before heading out.
As soon as we stepped onto the pier, we couldn’t resist taking a few photos with the beautiful harbor in the background and browsing through a couple of souvenir shops before reporting for our excursion, which started at 2:00 PM.
Our tour began with a comfortable 30-minute bus ride through Sitka’s beautiful scenery. The drive itself was enjoyable, with towering evergreen forests and glimpses of the coastline reminding us how untouched and peaceful this part of Alaska truly is.
Our first stop was the Fortress of the Bear, a nonprofit rescue and rehabilitation center that provides a safe home for orphaned and rescued bears that cannot survive in the wild.
Although the facility isn’t very large, it was an incredible experience seeing these magnificent animals up close. During our visit, we watched three rescued bears roaming around, playing in the water, and interacting with one another. Knowing that these bears had been given a second chance made the visit even more meaningful. We spent about 30 minutes here, which was just enough time to learn about their stories, observe them, and take plenty of photos.
The next stop was a quick 10-minute visit to Sitka National Historical Park. Even though the stop was brief, I highly recommend getting off the bus. The park offers beautiful coastal scenery, peaceful walking paths, and some impressive Native Alaskan totem poles that make for fantastic photographs. The beach views alone were worth stepping off the bus.
Afterward, our guide gave everyone two options: return directly to the cruise ship or get dropped off in downtown Sitka.
We chose to spend some extra time exploring downtown, and we’re so glad we did. We wandered through the charming streets for about 30–45 minutes, browsing local gift shops, admiring the colorful buildings, and simply soaking in the relaxed atmosphere of this historic Alaskan town. Once we were ready, we hopped on the free shuttle back to the cruise terminal, making it back onboard with plenty of time before departure.
Would I Recommend This Excursion?
I think the answer depends on what you’re looking for.
If you’d like a relaxed excursion, enjoy seeing wildlife, or want to support a wonderful nonprofit organization caring for rescued bears, then I would absolutely recommend booking the Sitka Express & Bear Fortress tour. Visiting the Fortress of the Bear isn’t just another sightseeing stop—it’s an opportunity to contribute, in a small way, to an organization dedicated to giving these rescued animals a safe and caring home.
However, if you’re traveling on a tighter budget or simply prefer exploring independently, you can easily skip the excursion. The free shuttle between the cruise terminal and downtown Sitka makes it very convenient to explore the town on your own. You can enjoy the local shops, waterfront, restaurants, and historic streets at your own pace without spending extra on an organized tour.
To wrap up the night, we wandered into the Golden Lion Pub around 9 PM and somehow ended up winning the Michael Jackson Trivia Competition! Apparently, all those random MJ facts stored somewhere in our brains finally paid off. 😄 We were secretly hoping the grand prize would be something legendary—maybe an MJ souvenir, a sparkly glove, or at least a moonwalk trophy—but nope! The real prize was bragging rights and a round of applause. Well, in the end, it was all in good fun, and we left the pub feeling like the King (or Queen) of Pop Trivia! 🎤🕺
As our ship slowly pulled away from Sitka that evening, we stood on deck watching the mountains fade into the distance. It had been a wonderful first day in Alaska—not packed with nonstop activities, but filled with beautiful scenery, meaningful experiences, and the excitement of finally setting foot in the Last Frontier. Little did we know, even more spectacular adventures awaited us over the next few days.
Day 4: Glacier Bay Cruising – Nature’s Grand Performance
Day 4 was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated days of our Alaskan voyage—the spectacular Glacier Bay National Park cruising day. If there was one day that truly showcased the raw beauty of Alaska, this was it.
Since Glacier Bay is a protected national park, the day was a little different from the usual sea days. National Park Rangers boarded the ship early in the morning and shared fascinating stories, history, and wildlife facts throughout the day. To preserve the peaceful environment, most onboard activities—including the spa, gym, sports courts, and other entertainment—remained closed until 4 PM. But honestly, with scenery like this outside, no one even missed them!
Our first glacier viewing was around 11:00 AM, followed by another breathtaking stop at approximately 1:30 PM. Watching the massive walls of blue ice rise from the water was simply surreal. The captain expertly maneuvered the ship remarkably close to the glaciers, giving everyone incredible panoramic views from every deck. One of the highlights was knowing that Cunard is among the select few cruise lines permitted to sail into Glacier Bay, and during our visit, we had the entire bay to ourselves. It felt like having one of nature’s greatest masterpieces reserved exclusively for us.
As if the day couldn’t get any more memorable, it also happened to be July 4th—America’s 250th Independence Day! The entire ship was buzzing with patriotic energy. Guests proudly dressed in red, white, and blue, American flags decorated the ship from bow to stern, and the festive atmosphere carried throughout the day. The celebrations concluded with a beautiful Independence Day Orchestra performance in the Queens Room at 9 PM, adding a touch of elegance to an already unforgettable day.
We also decided that such a special day deserved a little celebration of its own. After some browsing, we treated ourselves to a luxury watch from the onboard boutique. The duty-free shopping made it an even sweeter deal, and as an added bonus, every purchase came with an entry into their raffle draw. Even if you’re not planning to buy, it’s worth stopping by to admire the impressive collection—you never know what might catch your eye!
From towering glaciers and breathtaking scenery to patriotic celebrations and a little luxury shopping, Day 4 was the perfect blend of nature, celebration, and unforgettable memories. It was one of those days that reminded us why Alaska is truly unlike anywhere else in the world. 🇺🇸❄️🚢
Day 5: Icy Strait Point – Gondola Views, Bear Tales & A Musical Finale
After an incredible Glacier Bay day, it was time to step back on land as we docked at the charming Icy Strait Point early in the morning. This picturesque little port may be small, but it packs plenty of fun, scenic views, and unique Alaskan experiences.
We had booked the Mountain Top Gondola & Forest Tram Excursion for 11:00 AM. The gondola ride itself was worth every minute. As we slowly climbed to the top, the views kept getting better and better. From the summit, we were greeted with breathtaking panoramic views of the bay, lush green mountains, and our cruise ship looking surprisingly tiny from above.
The mountaintop is a lovely place to spend some time. There are a few souvenir shops, food truck, scenic walking paths, shaded seating areas to simply relax, and for the adventure seekers, even one of the world’s longest zip lines. Whether you’re chasing thrills or just soaking in the scenery, there’s something for everyone.
After enjoying the mountaintop, we hopped aboard the Forest Tram for an hour-long ride through the surrounding wilderness.
Now, if we’re being completely honest… the forest itself wasn’t exactly packed with postcard-worthy views. It was mostly trees, more trees… and a few mosquitoes that clearly hadn’t had lunch yet. 😂
But what made the ride unforgettable was our tram driver, Jackson. His hilarious personality and entertaining commentary turned a simple forest ride into memorable experience. We learned that the town has only about 750 residents, just three police officers, and is surrounded by nearly 3,500 bears. Let’s just say the bears definitely outnumber the cops… so if you spot one, don’t expect backup to arrive first! 🐻🤣
After the excursion, we headed back to the ship for a well-deserved lunch and spent the afternoon enjoying the onboard activities before getting ready for another fantastic evening.
The perfect ending came at the Royal Theatre, where The 3 Tones delivered an outstanding performance filled with incredible vocals, energy, and humor. It was one of the best entertainment shows of the cruise, and it’s definitely one you shouldn’t miss if it’s on your sailing schedule.
Travel Tip: Book the Mountain Top Gondola in advance if possible. Even if you decide to skip the Forest Tram, the gondola ride alone offers spectacular views that are absolutely worth experiencing. And if Jackson happens to be your tram guide… you’re in for plenty of laughs along the way!
Day 6: Ketchikan – Rain, Ducks & Alaska’s Salmon Capital ☔🦅🦭
We woke up to exactly what Ketchikan is famous for—rain! Lots of it. As the second wettest incorporated city in the United States, Ketchikan certainly lives up to its reputation. Thankfully, Cunard came to the rescue with complimentary ponchos and umbrellas, proving that a little rain wasn’t going to dampen our Alaskan adventure.
Ketchikan turned out to be the largest town we visited during our cruise and is proudly known as the “Salmon Capital of the World.” Despite the gloomy skies, the colorful waterfront and lively downtown had a charm of their own.
Our excursion for the day was the Ketchikan Duck Tour, and it kicked off with a warm welcome from our entertaining captain, Mike. The tour first took us through the streets of downtown, where we learned about the city’s history and passed by some beautiful neighborhoods. But the real fun began when our vehicle transformed into a boat and splashed right into the water! Riding an amphibious vehicle was a unique and surprisingly thrilling experience—it’s not every day your bus decides to go swimming.
The wildlife sightings made the tour even more special. We spotted majestic bald eagles perched high above, playful harbor seals popping up from the water, and even watched a seaplane gracefully land right in front of us. Moments like these are what make Alaska feel truly magical.
After the tour, we wandered through Ketchikan’s charming downtown, browsing local shops and soaking in the rainy coastal atmosphere. Before heading back, we stopped for a much-needed cup of coffee at Timber & Tide, conveniently located just across from the cruise pier. On a chilly, rainy Alaskan afternoon, that hot coffee tasted like pure happiness.
Back on the ship, we spent some time relaxing before dressing up for another wonderful dinner at the Britannia Restaurant. With full stomachs, tired feet, and another unforgettable Alaskan adventure behind us, we called it a day, ready to see what the next port had in store.
Day 7: A Lucky Day at Sea, Whales & a Magical Masquerade Night
After several exciting port days, it was finally time to slow down and enjoy a relaxing day at sea. We started the morning in the best possible way—with a leisurely breakfast in our stateroom, courtesy of Cunard’s wonderful room service. There’s something incredibly peaceful about sipping coffee while watching the endless ocean drift by from your room.
By afternoon, we headed to the Lido Buffet for lunch before making our way to the Fashion Boutique for the 3 PM raffle. Little did we know, Lady Luck had boarded the ship with us! Thanks to our recent watch purchase—and the multiple raffle entries recommended by the ever-helpful watch specialist Tez—we ended up winning both raffle prizes! It was one of those unexpected moments that made the day even more memorable.
Still riding the excitement of our lucky streak, we decided it was the perfect time to treat ourselves to a little pampering at the salon. Our stylist, Amisha (Ami), was absolutely wonderful. She made the experience relaxing, enjoyable, and left us feeling refreshed for the evening ahead.
Of course, no sea day was complete without staying true to our routine. We squeezed in a workout at the gym to burn off some of the delicious meals and desserts we’d been happily indulging in throughout the voyage.
The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated Masquerade Night. The ship transformed into an elegant celebration, with guests dressed in beautiful formal attire, each wearing elaborate masks that added a touch of mystery and glamour. The themed dinner created an unforgettable atmosphere unlike any other evening on board.
Then came the most magical surprise of the voyage.
As we enjoyed dinner in the Britannia Restaurant, a pod of whales appeared alongside the ship, swimming remarkably close as if they had come to bid us a final farewell before our journey came to an end. The entire dining room erupted in excitement. Guests rushed to the windows, cameras in hand, while even the crew paused to admire the incredible sight. It was one of those rare, breathtaking moments that no photograph could truly capture—a memory that will stay with us forever.
We wrapped up this incredible day by watching the spectacular “Be Our Guest” performance at the Royal Court Theatre. With fortune smiling upon us, a magical whale encounter, and another outstanding show, Day 7 was the perfect reminder that sometimes the most unforgettable travel moments are the ones you never plan for.
Day 8: Victoria, Canada – A Beautiful Finale to an Unforgettable Voyage
Every great journey must eventually come to an end, and today marked the final day of our incredible Alaska cruise. While it was bittersweet knowing our voyage was coming to a close, there couldn’t have been a better place to spend our last port day than the charming city of Victoria, British Columbia.
Our ship arrived in Victoria in the morning, giving passengers plenty of time to explore this beautiful Canadian city. We had booked a shore excursion scheduled for 2:00 PM, which included a city tour followed by a visit to the world-famous Butchart Gardens. After a short five-minute walk from the cruise terminal, we boarded our coach and enjoyed a scenic 30-minute drive to one of Canada’s most celebrated attractions.
The Butchart Gardens were nothing short of spectacular. Every pathway led to another breathtaking display of vibrant flowers, perfectly manicured gardens, tranquil ponds, and charming landscapes. It truly felt like walking through a living painting. We had two hours to explore, which proved to be just the right amount of time to wander through the different themed gardens, browse the souvenir shops, and enjoy a relaxing coffee break while soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
On our return journey, the tour offered guests the option of getting off in downtown Victoria to explore further. Although the city looked inviting, we chose to head back to the ship instead. We wanted a relaxed evening and didn’t want to risk rushing back before departure. It also gave us time to freshen up and enjoy one last dinner aboard the Queen Elizabeth.
The evening concluded with the cruise’s farewell performance by the talented singers and musicians. While I had hoped the final show would be a little grander and more colorful to celebrate the end of such an amazing voyage, the performers still delivered a heartfelt performance and showcased their incredible talent.
As the curtains closed on the final show, reality finally began to sink in. We returned to our stateroom, packed our suitcases, and placed them outside the cabin for the early morning disembarkation. It was a quiet moment of reflection—thinking about the glaciers, wildlife, beautiful ports, wonderful people we had met, and countless memories we had created over the past eight days.
This cruise may have come to an end, but the memories of Alaska and Canada will stay with us forever. Sometimes the journey ends, but the stories continue to live on. 🚢🇨🇦🌸
Day 9: Disembarkation – Until We Meet Again
Every great journey eventually reaches its final chapter, and today it was time to say goodbye to our beautiful home at sea.
We started our morning with a quick breakfast at the Lido Buffet around 8:00 AM before waiting for our disembarkation group to be called. To our surprise, the entire process was incredibly smooth and well-organized—easily one of the most efficient cruise disembarkations we’ve ever experienced. Within no time, we were off the ship and beginning our journey back home.
Finally after spending lot of dollars and gaining few pounds, and collecting countless unforgettable memories, our incredible voyage came to an end. Every destination had its own charm, every sea day brought a new experience, and every sunset reminded us why cruising is such a magical way to travel.

⭐ Crew & Hospitality: 100/10 – Simply outstanding. The warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none.
🍽️ Dining Options: 7/10 – Plenty of choices, though the menus became somewhat repetitive over the course of the voyage.
🥘 Food Quality & Quantity: 9/10 – Delicious meals with generous portions throughout the cruise.
🌎 Food Variety: 6/10 – I wish there had been more international cuisines instead of similar offerings each day.
🏊 Amenities: 9/10 – Excellent facilities that catered well to guests of all ages.
🎭 Entertainment: 7/10 (5/10 for young families) – Enjoyable overall, but there could have been more variety and energy, especially for families with children.
💰 Value for Money: 9/10 – Considering the length of the voyage, destinations, accommodation, and service, it offered excellent value.
🚌 Excursion Options: 9/10 – Well-organized tours with plenty of memorable experiences.
📶 Wi-Fi: 7/10 – Even with the premium package, streaming a single YouTube video was nearly impossible. Definitely an area that could be improved.
As we stepped off the ship for the last time, it wasn’t just the destinations we’d remember—it was the people we met, the laughter we shared, the breathtaking landscapes, and the feeling of waking up somewhere new almost every day.
